Writing an ARTICLE

OPENING:When writing an article you should try to catch the reader's attention with your opening sentence (by asking a question, by making a general statement about the topic or by saying what you think about the topic).
BODY: Develop your ideas and support them with examples from your general knowledge or personal experience.
CONCLUSION: Conclude with a brief summary of the main ideas.

Articles have to be both, interesting and informative. They can appear in a newspaper, magazine or journal, so the language is expected to be accurate and descriptive. Cohesive devices, connectors and linking experssions must be used. It will usually include the writer's opinion, commentary or interpretation.

Unit 1 task: page 15. Write an article in 120-180 words. Topic set in the task.

HELLO!! ANYONE THERE?

This is a teacher's call to all the B1 / B2 students. Are you ready to start your course? I hope so, as we have to get on task soon!
You probably have many questions to get started and, more often than not, they tend to be certificate-related ones...Other than Cambridge University, your nearest Official School of Languages and Trinity College certificates are equally valid and accepted by the Autonomous Government of Andalusia in order to become a bilingual teacher (for that purpose, a B2 level is the minimum required). I found these interesting links with
